It would be great if the Filter Control functionality can be improved by including the below two suggestions:
(1) On the Filter Control itself, the standard expression used is "AND". Example: Department = Information Technology AND Phase = Executing.
It would be great to have the ability to choose which expression is used. Examples:
“Department = Information Technology” OR “Phase = Executing”
“Department IS NOT Finance”
"Department = Project Office but Phase IS NOT = Initiating”
(2) Currently when filtering a list you can only select a single value from a custom list, employee list etc. It would be useful to multiple select (using OR) in the filter control. Example: Phase = Benefit Tracking, Initiating OR Planning.
The above can be done by building normal filters, BUT not using the fields within the filter control.
