Would it be possible to exclude report mailers from the "Receive e-mail notifications" setting under my preferences, as some users do not want to receive e-mail notifications but need to receive weekly or monthly reports sent by the report mailers.

We are happy to inform you that your above request has been addressed.
The report mailers are excluded from the "Receive e-mail notifications" setting under my preferences. So although users opt to not receive e-mail notifications they will still receive report mailers that have been set-up to be sent to them.
