I would like to request an enhancement to the PPO functionality that would allow administrators to define and apply default settings for the Grid Widget per entity (e.g., cost related).
Currently, users need to manually configure their Grid Widget views when accessing it for the first time. This may lead to inconsistent views and user experience.
Our proposed enhancement includes:
- Predefined categories,
- Preselected settings,
- Preformatted custom lists,
- A consistent default view applied automatically when users access the Grid Widget for a specific entity.
This would improve standardization, usability, and user efficiency - especially in scenarios where consistent data structure and layout are critical.
I propose this functionality to be optional and configurable per entity, so that other entities can still allow users to customize views individually. This improvement would likely be best implemented under the Widget Configuration section.
