When you are one of the selected employees in the "Assigned To" field when you submit an item, for example an Issue, it would be great if you are able to choose whether you would like to receive the e-mail notification or not.
A checkbox on the entity, which can be checked or unchecked, indicating whether the user would like to receive the e-mail notification or not, could be an option.
This is a separate requirements from the "unsubscribe" from receiving e-mail notifications option, available within the "My Preferences" section.
