It may be confusing for clients when they get a risk report from PPO showing risks or issues because the risk and issue numbering is for the overall PPO system and not per project so there are big gaps between the risk and issue numbers and they are not sequential. Is it possible to have risk and issue numbers generated including the project code so that the numbers are sequential and unique per project?

PPO Development Although it is possible in principle to implement this, the problem is that in PPO you can move items between projects (e.g. if you accidentally created the item under the wrong project or want to move it for some other legitimate reason) as well as delete items. This means that we cannot ensure that numbers will be consecutive or unique on a project unless we remove the ability to move or delete items. Most users we believe would prefer to retain this functionality. We are however planning on implementing an instance wide consecutive numbering field type although there could still be gaps if items are deleted. -
PPO Development As of version 3.4.0 administrators can set up consecutive numbering fields.
