Guy Jelley Official comment Just wanted to let everyone know that we have completed the development of this item and it has been deployed to all clients.
Over and above the page headings being repeated on PDF files we have also introduced "sticky headings" on the reports and dashboards in PPO so that when you scroll down on a report and a dashboard, the table headers remain at the top of the page.

Thania Behrens Hi Team! This would be great if implemented.
Just had another meeting where this request came up! Can you please look into this.
We are working on reports consisting of 40+ pages and keep on having to refer back to the first page. Please consider this.
Kind regards
Thania Behrens (ARM)

Nancy Joubert Hello, I agree. We also had a meeting today where the users requested this. Thank you!

PPO Development Currently the way that we generate PDF's is by creating an HTML page and then passing it to a utility that generates the PDF from that. We therefore do not have control over the PDF generation to be able to add column headings and paging.
From an HTML/web page point of view, paging does not really make sense (since it is only applicable when you print it out). There is however a possibility that browsers will start supporting special page operations in future which will allow us to do this.
Unfortunately, at the moment this is therefore not possible.

Leana Viljoen Hello PPO Development,
I would also have this implemented for clients that I've assisted that really needs this functionality.
Thank you,

Merle Symonds Is it possible to "fix" the headings of reports / dashboards, so that they are always available when scrolling down? (As in the "freeze pane" functionality in Excel). When viewing a portfolio of projects and scrolling down, the data becomes meaningless as the headings are not visible. This for the dashboard as well as PDF view.

Anne Curran Repeating headings on page breaks
The sad thing is customers are complaining and making an issue about this, which does make sense. So everything looks really professional, and then this small issue throws out all the intended good impression.

Dalene Grobler Mpact Executives are asking for this. The dashboards are generally grouped per division and then it often cuts displays the division heading on a previous page with the detail on the next page. Each MD is interested in their own portfolio and the detail gets lost when the headings are not displayed on each page.
