Project Entity - Order in which entities appear on Project View page

Some clients have asked if the order in which entities appear on the project view can be changed to (for example) lift the level of a custom entity to below costs, or to even do them alphabetically.

Please consider this.

  We have introduced the ability to sort entities on the Home page as well as on the Project View page. This is a global setting that can be applied by your PPO Administrator under System Configuration. Follow this link for more information.

  Several of the business users of my system have asked for this as one of their entities is much more important, so they want it to be seen at the top of the list on the project view page.

  Yes, I agree that the current view can be more chronologically sorted, especially with the most used entities higher up in the order. Our suggestion below:

  1. All the normal project header info
  2. Project Health Indicators                              Overall info required at first glance
  3. Comments                                                    Most used
  4. Risks                                                             First identified in chronological order
  5. Issues                                                            Often grows out of risks, thus chronologically the next event in a project after risks were identified
  6. Actions                                                           Often generated from Risks/Issues/Meetings, thus chronologically the next event after Issues
  7. Scope Changes                                              Seldom used
  8. Documents                                                     Seldom referred to on a regular basis
  9. Tasks                                                              Normally a long list
  10. Costs                                                               Normally a long list etc...
  11. Project Approvals                                           Seldom referred to on a regular basis
  12. Project History                                                Seldom referred to on a regular basis

  We are not sure a worldwide PPO solution will work, as users will always have different most-used entities…therefore would be better to be part of the set up

  Hello our users also raised this, so if they can't choose what to see first second etc, the solution for now would at least be to see if alphabetically as that would make more sense that to have it "deurmekaar" as it is currently.  

  I think this can be a "quick win".   Please look into this for us please.  

  Once again I see this has been raised almost 4 years ago with no note if PPO is looking into this or not.  If you can give us an indication of where this is in your pipeline it would be great.  Thank you!
