Lindi Gerber Official comment Drag & drop for documents is live! You can now use the incredibly simple functionality to drag & drop either single or multiple files. Click here for more info.

Permanently deleted user The Project Folder structure in PPO must be compatible with Windows Explorer. If you have Windows Explorer open on One Window and PPO on another Window, you must be able to Drag and Drop Files and Folders into PPO. -
PPO Development Currently we provided a mechanism for uploading documents via e-mail (see here for details) which places the documents in an Unclassified Documents project which appears on the user's home page. It is then up to users to edit these documents and provide the relevant meta-data.
We may at some stage support a similar mechanism where users can upload documents through the web front-end to the Unclassified Documents project without specifying the meta-data at that point, possibly even by dragging and dropping one or more files.

Nancy Joubert We have explored if the e-mail can work, but the users prefer to add their documents as they are busy with what they are doing.
When logging errors for example it is important for them to be able to add the print screens and documents as part of evidence.
The functionality on how to add documents is very time consuming and drag and drop will definitely be an improvement.
I truly hope this is something you will be looking at urgently as this will really help our users a lot. Thank you

Mia Roux Hi Nancy, thank you for your feedback.

Anne Curran I agree with the drag and drop concept. It would be easier.
It would be great if the description fields of issues could include pictures then descriptions with screen shots of issues can be copied in to the description and a document does not need to be linked at all.

Leana Viljoen The Mediclinic Infrastructure team also requested drag & drop functionality due the amount of documents they work with. They are using the Unclassified email option, but would prefer the drag & drop please.
