Currently the lists that are created are shown in alphabetical order and can't be reordered. It would be nice if I could record the lists.

Thanks for logging this idea. Currently you can't change the order of the lists in the My List widget in PPO, they are sorted alphabetically. The one work around is to number of lists with a simple "1 - ", "2 - " in front, which will get them in an order.
I have a list for things I need to do today and to get it to the top of my list I've renamed it as below:
