In a fast-moving environment and geographically spaced market, user access monitoring becomes a challenge especially in the Agile world where teams will come for specifics on projects and thereafter retired. It's also an administrative hurdle just to manage their access, especially when they have to roll off the Projects.
That’s when the expiry date will come in. Maybe this expiry functionality will come with Alerts on user expiry status, especially for external contracting resources. This will come a long way in cutting unnecessary license costs for these users. However, the functionality should be limited to ONLY retiring the USER. The responsibility to change the subscriptions will remain with the PPO Administrators.
