Currently, PPO doesn’t fully support Microsoft Project plans that contain linked subprojects. During import, only the first task of the subproject is visible, and the full task hierarchy is lost. This leads to incorrect %Planned calculations and incomplete reporting.
Suggested Improvement:
Enable PPO to recognize and import the full structure of linked subprojects within a Master Plan, preserving task hierarchy and ensuring accurate % Planned metrics. This would improve usability for program-level plans and remove the need for manual workarounds like unlinking subprojects.
