We would like to request a method for assigning a proxy time entry approval for when an approver is out of the office or would like to delegate that specific responsibility to another user. The proxy approver should only be able to approve specified resource or resources' time entry approvals.

PPO supports functionality to allow specific users the ability to approve on behalf of others, as defined in our knowledge base article. This would allow you to access approval requests for someone on leave or our out the office and approve on their behalf. Importantly the audit log will show that the approval was sent to the original approver and the new approver approved it, for traceability down the line.
