Please allow for a data field that automatically assigns consecutively numbers each new record.

  And the field must not be changeable but needs to show (be visible) for search functionality.

  We need this facility for assigning a unique number to project documents for quality purposes. So we would get the number generated by PPO and use it as the unique document code.

  As of version 3.4.0 administrators can set up consecutive numbering fields.
