A project “Duplicate” or “Copy From Previous” feature would really be handy (most of the data being entered for a brand new project is the same). This would definitely increase the efficiency.

Nico Serfontein It is surprising to note that this matter has not been attended to since Sept'13. We now have the exact same situation of a programme of a large number of similar facility projects that need to be created. The urgent assistance of PPO will be sincerely appreciated!

Kwenzakwenkosi Thabethe I doubt there is anybody taking this suggestion serious. the ability to copy and edit existing project will help save a lot of time in data capturing, in a programme environment.

PPO Development This functionality is now available by making use of the multiple edit functionality.
Note that in order to use the copy functionality for projects, the Project Code field on your instance needs to be calculated. If it is not you will not see the copy icon and will have to log a support ticket to request that the Project Code field is made calculated.
Also note that if you have a lot of project fields, complex dependencies between project fields (e.g. country, province, city or project type, project phase) or extensive validation rules on the project entity, these factors could contribute to it being difficult to make a straight copy of the project.
