PPO Development PPO uses ISO 8601 date format yyyy-mm-dd which has been adopted as British Standard BS ISO 8601:2004 and US ANSI INCITS 30-1997 (R2008).
Since PPO has users in all corners of the world, including multi-nationals that have users in multiple countries, having localised time formats, we believe, will just be confusing to users, especially when they are exchanging reports and e-mails.
The yyyy-mm-dd format is the only one that is unambiguous and is supported in most countries in the world.
We therefore do not have any plans to localise date representations at this stage.
