PPO allows users to run or extract reports/dashboards which may result in the report/dashboard timing out when being run or when being emailed to a user as an attachment. Below are some tips to prevent a report/dashboard from timing out:
Applying the global filter
Each entity has a global filter to filter out archived data. Ensuring this filter is on will reduce the number of records used in the report/dashboard. For more information on global filters, see this knowledge base article
Applying a shared/personal filter
If your report is still timing out try applying a shared/personal filter to filter out only the projects or entity items you want to see. For more information on shared/personal filters, see this knowledge base article
Adjusting your date range
If your report/dashboard has a start and end date parameter, try adjusting them so the range is smaller. As an example instead of 12 months rather use 6 months.
