This article covers:
Life Cycle Access
Access to the Life Cycle menu item is maintained in each user's user group access rights. This can be setup by hovering over the Administration Menu and then clicking on the User Groups menu. From the User Group List page click on the applicable User Group. From the User Group Edit page, access can be defined for the Menu items. Menus are the buttons at the top of each page in PPO.

To remove access to the Life Cycle menu item, select the No Access radio button for the Life Cycle menu:

The Life Cycle menu item will no longer show for the selected user group.
The opposite is also true. If you want to provide a user group that has access to the Life Cycle menu item, then ensure that the Access radio button for the Life Cycle menu is selected.
Life Cycle Edit
Access to edit the Life Cycle is maintained in each user's user group access rights. This can be setup by hovering over the Administration Menu and clicking on User Groups. From the User Group List page click on the applicable User Group. From the User Group Edit page, every function in PPO is listed in the Functions section and access to these functions can be granted or removed by selecting the appropriate Access or No Access radio buttons.
If an applicable user group should not have access to edit the life cycle, remove the Edit button by selecting the No Access radio button for the Edit Life Cycle function:

Setting the Life Cycle startup page
Once all the .svg pages have been uploaded to PPO as documents, the Life Cycle start up page can be set. This is the first page a user sees when they click on the Life Cycle menu item.
The default Life Cycle startup page for an instance is set within System Configuration. To set the start up page hover over the Administration menu item and then click on System Configuration. From the System Configuration page, scroll to the bottom of the page. The Life Cycle startup SVG file setting can be found under Technical Settings and shows a drop down list of all the .SVG files uploaded to PPO. Select the applicable .SVG page as the start up page and then click on the Submit button.

Life Cycle per user group
If a different Life Cycle is required for a user group, the Life Cycle start up page can be set per user group from the User Group Edit page. If this setting is left "blank" as in the screenshot below, the default startup page as set in under System Configuration will be used.

If an applicable startup SVG page is selected for the user group, as in the screenshot below, the user group will see the selected life cycle startup SVG page, once they click on the Life Cycle menu and will not have access to the default life cycle startup SVG page.
