This article provides detailed explanations of the Usage Reports available in PPO:
- Usage Report
- Last Log-On Report
- Reporting Usage Summary
- Report Usage Report
- Dashboard Usage Report
- Usage Report (External Users)
Usage Report
The usage report includes only those users that were active at any time during the selected period. When accessing the report, you will notice that the resource global filter is by default disabled, so that you can still see those users/resources that are no longer active.
If this does not meet your requirement you can still apply any personal resource filter that you specify e.g. if you only want to see the users in your business unit.
By default, a month period will be selected based on today’s date and you can also further group by various resource fields.
The hits for the period are the number of page requests/clicks made by the user while they were logged on. This report is available in report view, datasheet view and PDF view.
Last Log-On Report
If you need to know which users are logging into PPO, the Last Log-On report will tell you that. The report can be viewed for “All users” (default setting) or “Active” users and can be sorted by Log-On Date or Resource Name.
The report shows the last log-on date and the days since logged on. This report is available in report view, datasheet view and PDF view.
You might want to allocate her subscription to another user. For more information on adding users, access the following knowledge base article.
Reporting Usage Summary
The report provides an overview of the extent to which reports and dashboards are used in PPO. If you, therefore, don’t want to pull individual reports for each report or dashboard, this summary will quickly show you which reports or dashboards were used the most during the selected period.
The report provides a graph showing the number of reports and dashboards viewed per week, followed by a breakdown of the reports and dashboards accessed, per category, when last and how many times they were accessed in the selected period.
When clicking on a report or dashboard name, you can drill-through to the Report Usage Report and the Dashboard Usage Report respectively. This report is available in report view, datasheet view and PDF view.
