The purpose of the Time Entry Dashboard is to display three key aspects of time entries in PPO:
- Time Booked
- Missing Time
- Time Entry Approval Status
The Time Entry Dashboard's parameters allow for a project filter combo, a resource filter combo, a start and end date parameter, as well as a frequency parameter. It can be generated in either a Dashboard View or a PDF View. The frequency determines the period on which you would like to report on (Weekly/Monthly) and is used when determining a period's capacity for a resource.
The Key Statistics section displays 4 metrics across the above three aspects for the duration between the start and end date parameters:
Total Missing Time - Total time that has not been booked on timesheets vs the total capacity.
Utilisation - Total time booked vs the total capacity.
Time Not Submitted - Time that has been booked on time sheets but not submitted for approval. See Time Entry Approvals for more information.
Total Not Approved - How much time is waiting for approval vs how much time has been submitted for approval.
Missing Time - The bar chart indicates the total time missing per week/month for the duration between the start and end date parameters.
Time Booked - The pie chart indicates the total time and percentage contributed per project for the duration between the start and end date parameters.
The Missing Time and Time Booked graphs allow for a drill down to a resource level.
The Time Entry Status section displays the total hours per approval status per week/month in a bar graph with a drill down to a resource level for the duration between the start and end date parameter..
The Details table is a summary per resource showing the total hours per approval status for the duration between the start and end date parameters. The Resource name has a click-through to the Daily Time Entries report.
